Policies & Payments

Payment is due at the time services are rendered. If you have any special considerations regarding payment, please discuss this with the receptionist prior to seeing the doctor. We accept a variety of payment options, including cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and CareCredit.

CareCredit

CareCredit is a personal line of credit for healthcare, both human and veterinary, that works like a credit card. To apply, click here for the CareCredit Online Credit Application or call their 24/7 phone number at 1-800-365-8295.

ScratchPay

ScratchPay offers financing options ranging from $200 - $10,000. Visit scratchpay.com or text PAY to 213-296-0817 to apply.


Cancellation Policy

We understand that inadvertently missing appointments can happen. However, we must consider that these missed appointments impact other patients, many of whom are sick, and need to receive timely care.

Parkway Veterinary Hospital requires a minimum of 24 hours prior notice for appointments that need to be canceled or rescheduled. You can cancel or reschedule by emailing us at frontdesk@parkwayvethospital.com or calling us at 617-469-8400.

All new clients* are required to pay for their exam in full when scheduling an appointment. Once the appointment is complete, this total will be applied to the charges incurred. If you cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment via call or email, you will receive a full refund. If you do not follow these guidelines, your fee is non-refundable. Please note, the refund may take up to two weeks.

*New clients are considered families that have never been to our clinic or who have not been in to see us in the past 5 years.

No-Show Policy

A “No-Show” is considered when a client/patient does not show up for their appointment or cancels less than 24 hours prior to their allotted appointment time.

If you “No-Show” for an appointment, we require the full exam payment at the time of booking your next appointment. Similar to the above cancellation policy, once the appointment is complete, this total will be applied to the charges incurred. If you cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment via call or email, you will receive a full refund. Refunds will not be permitted if you do not follow these guidelines.
